Apple have recently launched the New Apple iPhone 3GS as their next development to the hugely popular iPhone range.
Xpango have now added this version to our range of mobile phones - meaning you can now receive a Free iPhone 3GS!
What's new with the iPhone 3GS?
Here's some of the key improvements/changes
- x2 Faster than the iPhone 3G
- Video Recording Added
- Compass feature added to work with Google Maps
- Voice Control feature
- Upgraded 3.0 megapixel digital camera with auto-focus.
- Now available in 16GB & 32GB
Apple state that the iPhone 3GS is the 'fastest, most poweful iPhone yet' which by every account is true - the iPhone is one of the most desirable mobile phones on the planet and these improvements only enhance its desirability!
What do we think?
There's no doubt that the iPhone is an incredible phone, if you don't yet have one, the iPhone 3GS is a great option as a mobile phone. However, if you do already own a iPhone 3G it's fair to say that the new features listed about aren't exactly ground breaking and the iPhone 3G is still a great handset (and still offered by Xpango for less credits than the 3GS). It's also worth noting that the 3GS is significantly more expensive than the 3G version too.
Apple seem to have simply tweeked a few of the features rather than introducing anything to get massively excited about, leaving some Apple fans a little underwhelmed. It will be very interesting to see what Apple come up with next time around.
For now the iPhone 3GS still has plenty to offer and rightly sits at the top of the tree for the most desirable Smart Phone available on the market.

How to use Facebook to gain Xpango Credits - Part 1
Posted by Xpango | Sunday, April 26, 2009 | 10 comments »
Unless you have been living in a cave for the past year, it is likely that you have heard of Facebook and even more likely that you have a Facebook account - who doesn't?
"Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life"Facebook is also a great way of gaining extra Credits by sharing/telling your friends about Xpango and encouraging them to join you in getting the latest gadgets for a fraction of their regular cost.
Many Xpango members are already using Facebook to gain Credits, but for those who haven't yet tried - we thought we would give you some ideas and tips for doing so...
Tip 1 - Share Xpango in your Facebook Status
This is easy, simply mention Xpango when you update your status and include your Referral Link (found in your Xpango account). Here's some examples;
Example 1 - "**Your Name** is getting a Free iPod Nano with Xpango, you can get one too, just visit - http://www.xpango.com?ref=your ref here"

**Extra Tip - If you want to shorten your Referral Link, try Tiny URL - simply enter your Referral Link and Tiny URL makes it tiny!
You will receive a Credit for each friend who clicks your link, registers and completes an offer at Xpango.
Tip 2 - Attract extra attention at the same time by becoming a Fan of Xpango
Become a Fan of Xpango on Facebook (which shows up on your page and on your friends highlights section on Facebook) at the same time you post your Xpango Status update. This will help to generate interest and interested friends may comment on your status, meaning you can tell them about Xpango and encourage them to join you!

Xpango have now added the New Nintendo DSi Console to the range of consoles that members can receive for Free!
Nintendo have recently released (in the USA) the New DSi Console and it is soon to be released in the UK and Europe on the 3rd of April. The previous DS and DS Lite versions were popular gifts with Xpango members and it's no suprise that these consoles are the top selling handheld consoles on the market.
So what's new with the DSi then?
Here's a list of key differences and new features;
- Slimmer than the DS Lite: The Nintendo DSi is 12% slimmer.
- Two cameras: 0.3 megapixel digital camera for 640 x 480 pixel pictures, also acts as a webcam.
- Downloadable DSi web browser: Surf the net on your DSi.
- Play download games: Using DSWare, a new service for DSi owners that operates using current Wii Points.
- DSi SD Memory Card: Replaces the GBA Slot of the DS Lite.
- Improved audio options: The DSi features pitch & playback options.
- Improved speakers: For better sound quality.
- Extended DSi stylus: The DSi stylus is now 4.5mm longer.
We particularly like the DSWare feature. Much like the Wii Points system, you will be able to download new and classic games to play on your DSi for points. Nintendo are promising a great range of titles and even applications to appear here, so this should prove to be a fantastic feature for owners.
The DSi is intially available in 2 colours - 'matt black' or 'stark white' and Xpango will have both colours available for just 15 Credits.
