Apple recently announced the new 3G version of their iPhone, which is due to be released in 22 countries on the 11th of July.
The first version of the iPhone proved to be very popular, especially in the UK and USA and now Apple are moving to make the new version available in a much larger number of countries across the world.
The new version looks very similar but now features 3G web browsing, push email via Microsoft Exchange and GPS Maps. It's also available in 8GB and 16GB with the latter being available in black or white.
Faster and cheaper?
Apple claim the new 3G iPhone will be far faster for web browsing due to it being able to take advantage of 3G networks.
The price is also set to come down, with it being announced that you can now purchase an iPhone from as little as $199/£99 with a contract. A Pay as you go version is also due to be released shortly, which is rumored to cost around $600/£300.
So how many Credits are Xpango going to offer the iPhone 3G for?
There are rumors that Apple may not be selling the new iPhones via the Apple store, meaning that customers who want one would need to buy them from a store such as AT&T or O2.
This may mean that Xpango are not able to source the iPhone directly from Apple, which we have done in the past. It may mean that Xpango would need to wait until the non-contract version is available.
However, this is all rumors and maybe's so we will keep you updated as soon as we have more information from Apple! Ideally we would like to offer the iPhone 3G at a lower Credit level, so watch this space....
