Xpango have now added 2 new Blackberry models, both of which will sure to be popular with our members. The New BlackBerry 9700 Bold & 8520 Curve include a full range of great features - which handset is right for you? Read on...
BlackBerry 8520 Curve
The 8520 Curve is a lightweight handset featuring BlackBerry's new trackpad navigation system and a range of dedicated media buttons - both these features are designed to make it quick and easy to do what you need to do on your BlackBerry!
Essentially the 8520 Curve is very similar to the 8900 Curve but with a few differences. The biggest difference in this case is the price, with the 8520 costing less than the 8900 meaning that if you want a BlackBerry but don't want to earn quite so many credits, the 8520 is a great option and at the time of writing is available for just 18 Credits from Xpango! (The Bold is currently 37).
The 8520 is still packed with all your usual BlackBerry features such as instant email, a 2Mp Digital Camera and Wi-Fi, but does have slightly lower resolution than the 8900 and misses GPS, so a few factors to consider, however the 8520 is a great BlackBerry handset and the differences are minimal, we also really like the trackpad navigation feature. We recommend the 8520 to any Xpango member who is looking to pick up a BlackBerry as it offers great value.
BlackBerry 9700 Bold
The New BlackBerry 9700 Bold is an updated model of the previous 9000 and is BlackBerry's best balance yet between a comfortably narrow phone and conveniently wide keyboard.
Like the 8520, the 9700 also features the new trackpad navigation, which is much like what you would find on a laptop and is very clever for navigating your way around.
The 9700 is feature packed, with 3G, Wi-Fi, High Resolution Screen and a 3.2 Mp Digital Camera and yet, this model is smaller than the previous Bold model and certainly less in width.
If your looking for a BlackBerry that has it all, the 9700 certainly seems to tick every box, however this is a more expensive model and at the time of writing is available for 37 Credits. That said, it's still less than an iPhone 3GS...
